Hi John, as you said that you used to use matchless then changed it to bad cat and now go back old marshall. what the best model do you recommend for each of them? and the best one for tele/strat?

Bad Cat would be a Hot Cat. Matchless, a DC30 or Clubman. Marshall, late 70's Super Leads or JCM800 reissues. Marshalls are really a personal taste and basically it doesn't matter what model you get as long as it's tube and you find one that really speaks to you. I've had Marshalls from all eras that sound fantastic.

An amp I really love with a tele/strat is a Dr. Z... but remember, that's for more of a loud, clean tone.
