So now that Porcupine Tree is on an 'indefinite hiatus' what are your plans? Also, do you have a book with tabs for your music? I would love to be able to play some of your songs.
Hi Chris, I don't have a tab book but I use software called 'Transcribe' to learn songs. As for my plans... I'm working on finishing up an album and putting together a new band to tour.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone pull off such an incredible live guitar tone as you, any tips? Also, on a sidenote, your performance on My Ashes on the Anesthetize DVD seriously gave me the heaviest chills down my spine, which has led me to explore a lot more of your own material. You are seriously an incredible talent John, I can't say much more than that.
I'm kind of interested of how you became a guitar player? Or, in particular, how did you manage it to get into the "pro-league" of musicians? Did you visit a guitar-college?
Oh, and also, I really love your work and overall sound!
